Blue

Of All The Spectrum
Blue's Reputation
Is Seldom Associated With Joy
We Sing the Blues
Hand in Hand with Funk is Blue's Hue
The Blue's are Best Shaken
Rise Up
Time for Blue's Re-Branding
From Dumps to Flower
From Hump to Cloud
From Doldrums to Beauty

Contrast

Flower Side Flower
Contrasting In Size
Clothed In Divine Brilliance
Such Beauty is Self-Evident
Or Should Be If We Pause
No Need For Designer Labels
Or Third-World Sweatshops
Churning Out This Season's Creations

Character

Character Etches
Lines And Swirls And Distinctions
True To Who We Are

The Gathering

An Assemblege of Colour
Reach Out In Friendship

Nutriant

Face Set to Sunlight
Drawing Life From Energy
Creation In-Breathed

Sensual

Nature unfolding
An orgasm of colour
Calling its lovers

Play

Some days its o.k. just to chase our tail
To go round and round, like a maypole dance
Some days its o.k. to prance at our shadow
Peter-Panning with pixie dust in a game of hide and seek
Some days we need to splash in puddles
Dance with our umbrellas inside out and laugh out loud...

Fan Dancer

Celebrating the rite of spring
Spinning in a sacred circle
The dancer embraces the drum beat
Beating like a pulsing heart
It is an ode to joy
An acknowledgement of rebirth
The ground is awakening
And beauty is pushing upward

Clock Tower

Anchoring a facsimile of the town square
A clock tower stands
The pretense that others care
That time is passing
That surprises happen
That longings emerge
With the passage of the suns rising and setting
Sundials have been exchanged for nanoseconds
Patience and waiting 'twittered' away
In endless syllables
Of meaningless chatter
Conversions once spoken in timelessness

Shed

Rooftop hermitage
Follows the sun's pilgrimage
Day's rhythm is marked

Rooftop Garden

A question that makes the masters laugh
"Does a tree planted on the rooftop make a sound?"
With begging bowl in hand
Seeds are scattered
And rooted in an emerging
Greening of soul

Sails

These pyramids of our own making
Are anchored on the horizon
Waiting to catch the wind
Masts on landlocked concrete giants
Linear obelisks of rivets and steel
Awaiting the Pharaohs of our day

Light

It surprises us
Infusing the concrete horizon
A prism of the spirit
Laughing at our seriousness
A sacred invitation to joy
Nesting on the roof top
